Magma’s foundry partnership program enables collaboration between process technology supplier and Magma’s engineering team to offer a close link between the Magma tools and the various process technologies for use in the Customer Owned Tooling (COT) environment. Magma collaborates with the MagmaTies foundry partners in the following areas:

• Technology file correlation and validation using industry gold standard QuickCap NX
• Reference methodology development
• Advanced technology exchange and collaboration in areas such as DFM and chip performance optimization
• The benefit to our mutual customer is that the combined foundry process and EDA tool solution is pre-qualified for use thus enabling the fastest ramp to design productivity.
